Price: $25.95 for one bottle, checked Oct 3, 2026 (the 2- and 3-bottle packs showed out of stock). Double Wood says every batch is tested by ISO/IEC 17025-accredited labs and publishes a certificate of analysis (COA) for the product; the testing lab's accreditation wasn't independently checked. No USP, NSF or Informed Choice certification is stated. Dietary supplements are not FDA-approved: FDA does not approve dietary supplements or their labeling before sale. Evidence grade: C (for the ingredient, not this product). A 2021 meta-analysis of 9 small randomized trials found that oral astaxanthin from H. pluvialis improved skin moisture and elasticity compared with placebo but not wrinkle depth, and results varied between trials; most trials used 4-12 mg a day for 4-16 weeks.
